Intended Use

The ASI TPHA Test is a qualitative microhemagglutination test for the presence of IgG and IgM antibodies to Treponema pallidum, the causative agent for syphilis, in human serum and EDTA plasma. It is formulated for use on the Olympus PK7200™  and/or PK7300™ Automated Microplate System. Serum is the sample of choice and any repeat or comfirmatory testing must be done with serum. This test is intended for screening of blood donors only.
